OUR STORY|THE DESIGNER
I'm a graphic designer and jewelry maker who loves traveling, art and design. I'm inspired by beauty in all its forms – words and music, history and culture, architectural detail and ornamentation, aspects of nature, and wonderful experiences with family and friends.
I've lived in Italy, Japan, Korea, Germany and now the US, and have traveled in Southeast Asia, Northern Africa and Western Europe. These experiences have given me a deep sense of wonder and joy at the many forms beauty can take throughout history and within different cultures and environments. In order to celebrate and share these sentiments, I've studied and explored oil and watercolor painting, pastels, pen and ink drawing, collage techniques and computer graphic design.
In jewelry making I've discovered a means to transform my memories of times and places into a vision of personal style. Using intricate beading, weaving and stringing techniques, I fashion carefully chosen elements into wearable art - evoking the elegance and sophistication of bygone times and faraway places, while maintaining the aesthetics of the modern age.
